Painter and essayist
After studying philosophy and a career as a television documentary-maker, Jacques Cauda turned to painting completely on his own at the age of 45.
At the same time, he wrote essays and edited the publication “La bleu-Turquin” published by Editions Douro.
Jacques Cauda was Toile d’or 2010, Arward d’honneur at the Park Art Fair International in Geneva in 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016 and Diplôme d’honneur at the ERYA Contemporary Art Biennial in Chartres, 2012.
Her work is on show at the KattenKabinet Museum in Amsterdam, La Maison de Balzac in Paris and La Maison de Verlaine in Metz.
